Rules & Regulations

All participants are required to remain on the conference premises at all times unless prior approval is granted by the Diocese Youth Fellowship Conference Conveners or Achens.

  1. All participants are required to remain on the conference premises at all times unless prior approval is granted by the Diocese Youth Fellowship Council, Conference Conveners, or Achens.

  2. Attendance and punctuality at all scheduled meetings are mandatory.

  3. Rock Eagle Quiet Hours are observed from 10pm-7am. Lights out is at 11pm. Remain in assigned cabins after curfew, except in cases of emergency. Occupying cabins assigned to the opposite sex are prohibited. The DYFC committee will conduct nightly cabin checks.

  4. Minors must stay in groups or two or more outside of cabins and meeting spaces.

  5. The use of alcohol, tobacco, vapes, controlled substances (including illicit drugs) is strictly prohibited on conference grounds. Any individual found in violation of this policy will face consequences determined by the committee, which may include immediate removal from the conference without refund.

  6. Participants are expected to treat fellow attendees, staff, and clergy with the utmost respect. There will be zero tolerance for bullying, harassment, or discrimination.

  7. Participants are expected to respect the Rock Eagle 4-H Center campus by maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in all areas. Unauthorized areas, not designated for the Diocese Youth Fellowship Conference (DYFC), should be avoided.

  8. Appropriate and modest attire must be worn at all conference events. Wear clothing appropriate for worship and mixed group activities.

  9. In the event of an emergency, participants must immediately report the situation to the Conference Conveners or Committee Members.

  10. All participants are expected to uphold and respect the faith and practices of the Mar Thoma Syrian Church and the Mar Thoma Church, Atlanta.
